Information
- 1. What do I need to bring?
- Other items you may want to bring
We will provide everything you will need for your Nooo Problem charter fishing trip. We are a full service fishing charter. Navigation is taken seriously by the Captain, and the equipment is furnished and set up by the First Mate. At the end of your charter, the catch will be cleaned and bagged for you. All that is required is a Wisconsin Fishing License with a valid Great Lakes trout stamp. You can click this link to order your licence online. Wisconsin Fishing Licence
Warm clothing, and your rain gear. Weather changes. A duffel bag works well to store extra clothes and jackets for your whole group until they are needed. You will only miss what you didn't bring with you.
Sun screen, hat, sunglasses, and a camera to capture those memorable moments.
Comfortable, soft soled, non-marking shoes.
Large cooler to bring your catch home.
Food and beverages.
Bring what you need in the way of food, beverage and snacks. Just remember that this is a one day adventure, not a two week vacation. Most groups consume only a small portion of the food they bring onboard.
Alcoholic beverages:
Alcoholic beverages are allowed on boats in Wisconsin.
- 2. How early should I arrive for my trip?
Arrive on time and prepared to leave the dock. It is not necessary to arrive early. Your captain will have the boat "set-up" and ready at the time of your charter. It won't take but a couple of minutes to load your gear and board the vessel.
- 3. What if I think I may get "sea-sick"?
Most people know if they have a tendency for motion sickness. Be considerate of the other people in your group by taking the necessary steps ahead of time to avoid becoming sea sick. Patches applied to the skin to prevent sea-sickness are available from your doctor, and they seem to work the best. If you find that you don't feel "quite right" while on the water, don't wait to see if it goes away on its own. Let the Captain know right away. He will most likely have some suggestions that will help.
